Agreed. And the tooling around
VS Code with Claude Code
has those guardrails built in. It reads your project structure and responds accordingly. Not a generic chatbot -- a context-aware development partner.

Context-aware. That's the word. It knows my template uses custom properties. It knows my grid system. It knows my colour palette. So when I ask for a new component, it generates something that fits. Automatically.

That's the whole value proposition right there. Context-aware AI that produces code fitting your existing architecture. No more copy-pasting from Stack Overflow and spending an hour adapting it to your project.

The era of Stack Overflow archaeology is over. Not because Stack Overflow is bad -- it taught us all a lot. But because having a tool that knows YOUR codebase and generates solutions FOR your codebase is fundamentally better.

Better and faster. I timed myself on a recent project. AI-assisted: forty-two hours to a complete Joomla site. Same scope project six months ago without AI: one hundred and thirty hours. That's not incremental improvement. That's a paradigm shift.

Paradigm shift might be the right word for once. Usually it's overused tech marketing speak. But going from a hundred and thirty hours to forty-two? That genuinely changes the economics of web development.
