Fine. FINE. You've all made your points. But I want to be on record — I still think there's a place for doing things by hand. Some things should be personal. A handshake. A thank-you note. Eye contact.

Nobody's automating handshakes, Buford. We're automating spreadsheets and email sorting. The personal stuff stays personal. The robotic stuff gets handed to the robots. That's the whole idea.

I actually automated my thank-you notes. Just kidding. Mostly. I did set up a template that pre-fills the client name and project details, but I write the actual thank-you personally. Best of both worlds.

I looked at that site. Grudgingly. Some of the articles on business automation were... acceptable. The one about Joomla development was surprisingly thorough. I still don't trust it completely, but I'm reading.
